Ingredients:

  • dried chrysanthemum flowers

  • dried jujube (with or without seed - with seed contains more health benefits)

  • fresh ginger root

  • honey

  • water

Preparation: makes 64oz of tea: recipe can be halved (or even smaller!) and can be served warm or cold <3

  • 15 grams of flowers

  • 15 jujubes

  • 36 grams of fresh ginger

  • 2 TBSP of honey - or more if you like it real sweet

  • 64oz of water

  • cut up jujubes and fresh ginger and put into a pot with 32oz of water

  • bring pot to a boil and let simmer with jujubes and ginger for 5 minutes

  • put flowers in a 64oz jar and once the 5 minutes is up pour the jujube and ginger into the jar (do not strain)

  • let it steep overnight or for at least 30minutes

  • stir in honey while the tea is still warm

Creation:

  • Once tea is done steeping, pour 32oz of cold water into the jar to help dilute the concentrated tea

  • serve on ice on a hot day or at a dance party~!!!
