Classic Banana Bread:

  • 2 cups AP or GF Flour

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or more maple!

  • 3 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder - or none

  • 3-4 very ripe bananas (mashed)

  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk of choice

  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

optional additions: chocolate chips, carob chips, nuts, pumpkin purée, ground flaxseeds for extra nutrients :)

  1. pre-heat oven to 350F

  2. mix dry ingredients together

  3. mix wet ingredients together

  4. mix everything together

  5. pour in a non-stick, lined, or buttered or oiled bread pan

  6. bake for 55-60min!check doneness with the toothpick trick!

  7. let cool for at least 10min

  8. EAT
