Classic Banana Bread:
2 cups AP or GF Flour
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar or more maple!
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/8 tsp nutmeg powder - or none
3-4 very ripe bananas (mashed)
1/2-3/4 cup milk of choice
3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
optional additions: chocolate chips, carob chips, nuts, pumpkin purée, ground flaxseeds for extra nutrients :)
pre-heat oven to 350F
mix dry ingredients together
mix wet ingredients together
mix everything together
pour in a non-stick, lined, or buttered or oiled bread pan
bake for 55-60min!check doneness with the toothpick trick!
let cool for at least 10min
